About this book

What Shall We Do To-Night?, or Social Amusements for Evening Parties, by "Leger D. Mayne" [partial] (1873)

Author: "Leger D. Mayne" [pseud]

Year: 1873

What Shall We Do To-night?, or Social Amusements for Evening Parties by "Leger D. Mayne" (an obvious pseudonym). Published in 1873 by Dick & Fitzgerald (New York). This turns out to be a partial copy, which was so cunningly repaired that I didn't realize that pp264–289 are missing until I'd finished scanning. This spans most of the "22nd Evening", all of the 23rd, and the beginning of the 24th. That said, my scans seem to be somewhat better color depth and resolution than most I can find elsewhere. There are a number of small tears (repaired) and stains throughout, which may affect OCR quality. Scanned at 600dpi, 24-bit color, algorithmically deskewed and then manually cropped.
