[Verse 1] A cruel man in Germany has pull’d the Lion’s tail, / He trespass’d over Belgium so now we will turn the tale, / For when this war is over the Kaiser wont [won’t] be so gay, / And to the man whose head is swell’d, I think we all can say: [Chorus] Oh! Mister Kaiser what are you going to do / You’d better give up the fight today for the Allies will conquer you / Be careful what you’re doing / For we surely are going to win, / And we’ll have you off the face of the map by the time we reach Berlin. [repeat] [Verse 2] There’s Britain and her Allies they are all so staunch and true, / They’re fighting in the trenches now and vict’ry they’ll bring to you, / There’s Austria and Turkey the Bulgar there as well, / But they will be disposed of so, to them we will say farewell. [Chorus] [Verse 3] We’ve sent across the mighty sea the pick of Canada’s sons / The Colonies are fighting ‘mid the booming of the guns, / And we have not forgotten the murder of Miss Cavell, / And when we the chance to strike, we’ll make our vengeance tell. [Chorus]
