The library committee discusses such things as books collected for soldiers in army camps, the purchase of land on the north side adjoining the library, developing a fair waiting list for books, and changing loan rules. Gifts of books are accepted, including five volumes by Reverend Edmund H. Sears of Wayland and an album by Wallace H. Folsom containing photographs of the new Centre System of the Wayland Water Works. Mrs. Nellie Rice Fiske is the only female trustee in 1933. The historical collection is moved from circulation to noncirculating reference. A rental collection for duplicate titles is discussed.
