This is a collection of war verses from the First World War (Great War 1914-1919) in a small blue hard cover book. This is a complete scan of the book, with colour drawings and black and white photographs intact. The book is from the Archives of the Milton Historical Society (16 James Street, Milton Ontario Canada). It would appear to me that the book of verses was written by Stephen Pell who was with the United States Army Air Services (U.S.A.A.S.) serving with the French Army (Equipe Americaine), perhaps the Lafayette Escadrille? The 2nd verse in the book is "The Canadian Captain Speaks".
