UGHS Chronicle No 1 December 1920. Scanned 2015 and uploaded to the Internet Archive 2018 by Jim Foley. Every year from 1920 Uttoxeter Girls' High School produced a chronicle of events at the school. Three members of the Mellor family of Uttoxeter Janet, married name Cruickshank, Margaret, married name Sheddick and Gwyneth attended the school where at one time their father Ernest Mellor, Uttoxeter chemist, was Chairman of the Governors. This chronicle and copies of the following years of the Chronicle were inherited by Geoffrey Sheddick from his mother Margaret Mellor and his two aunts and kindly allowed them to be scanned and reproduced here. The chronicles are an invaluable source for the history of UGHS, Family History research and the social history of Uttoxeter and the surrounding area. Search inside facility.
