Peabody,D.D.; Mrs. Nathaniel Silsbee, Rev. Charles T. Bbrooks, Abner C. Goodell, Jr.; Miss C.R. Derby, Rev. Augustus Woodbury, Mrs. Jared Sparks, Theodore A. Neal, Miss Harriet E. Lunt, Rev. Jones Very, Edward S. Morse, Charles W. Palfray, Mrs. Charles Lowe. There is a poem titles "Peggy Bligh's Voyage," "Bitter-Sweet Rocks" and "Paterfamilias Loquitur." To-Day : A Paper Printed During the Fair of the Essex Institute and Oratorio Society, at Salem, Mass., from October 31st to November by the Essex Institute and Salem Oratorio Society The Essex Institute at its Annual Mooting in May, organized a department of "Tlic Fine Arts." In order to place this department in good condition, when it should be organized, several plans were proposed during the previous winter to raise the necessary funds, among others a Fair was suggested, which met with much favor among many friends of the Institute.
