About this book

The Worker (New York) - 1902 full year

Author: Socialist Party of America

Year: 1902

The Worker [New York] — full set of issues for 1902 Beginning as a dissident edition of The People in July 1899, The Worker was the official organ of the Social Democratic Party with headquarters in Springfield, Massachusetts until that organization merged with Chicago counterparts to form the Socialist Party of America (SPA) in August 1901. Thereafter, it was the newspaper of the New York state affiliate of the SPA, still called the Social Democratic Party of New York due to legal requirements related to ballot access. This is a full set of 52 weekly issues of the 4 page newspaper. Digitized from microfilm by Tim Davenport ("Carrite") for Archive.org. Be advised that the PDF+TEXT download option, while searchable, is marked by automatically downsampled resolution. Published in the USA prior to 1923, public domain.
