About this book
The Practical Printer (October, 1901)
Author: Inland Type Foundry (St. Louis, MO)
Year: 1901
A single issue in wraps of The Practical Printer from October, 1901 (Volume 3, Number 10), published monthly by the Inland Type Company of Saint Louis, Missouri. Apparently each issue of the magazine featured a different display head, and in addition to type showing pages they would set all the headers, the covers, and most advertising in that same face. In this issue, it's Blair, and the showing is for the Blair Series. This issue was deaccessioned from a special collections library; I have not tried to preserve the catalog information pencilled at the margins of the covers. Scanned at 600dpi, 24-bit color, algorithmically deskewed and then manually cropped. As always, I have not provided OCR text; that has been generated automatically by the upload server. My goal with these scans is to provide sufficiently clean pages for manual proofreading of OCRed pages by human folks.
