He designed the Embassy of Ireland in Washington, D.C., among other buildings in the District, as a partner in the firm of Wyeth & Cresson. Durring World War I, he served as an officer in the U.S. Signal Corps. Following the war, he held posts as Assistant Professor of International Law at Princeton University and later Professor of International Law at Tufts College.
