Εκδίδεται τανυν, επί τηι βάσει επτά αρχαίων χειρογράφων, δαπάνηι και επιμελίαι Γεωργίου Δ. Ροδακανάκη. “The Epistle of the Apostolic Father Barnabas to the Hebrew Faithful the very one discovered in it's entirity on [Mt.] Athos in 1843 by the adventurer [Or: “daredevil” “swashbuckler”] Konstantinos Simonidis. Published today, based on seven ancient manuscripts, at the expense of and under the supervision of Georgios D. Rodakanakis.” A book printed by Constantine Simonides containing a polemical defense and fictional story about the alleged discovery of "seven ancient manuscripts" of Barnabas on Mt. Athos. Which, if real (and no one has ever testified to have seen these manuscripts), were without doubt just another one of his forgeries. He also is accused of printing another forgery to defend this forgery, a fake newspaper article from Greece (using a common newspaper name) referencing the publishing of his book, and back-dated to 1843. Some also say that this book was perhaps printed (or at the very leas
