The Constitution of the Red International Published in Chicago by the American Labor Union Educational Society / Voice of Labor, a front for the underground Communist Party of America, November 1921. Constitution of the Red International of Trade Unions (RILU; Profintern), trade union arm of the Communist International. The United Communist Party of America and the old Communist Party of America amalgamated at the behest of the Comintern at a joint unity convention which ran from May 15–28, 1921. The gathering was held at the Overlook Mountain House, located near Woodstock, New York. Voice of Labor was the semi-legal trade union publication of the underground communist organization, forerunner of the Trade Union Education League and its magazine, The Labor Herald.
