This is a collection of records regarding Susan Agnes Ivie Memmott's commitment and stay at the Utah State Mental Hospital in Provo, Utah (then known as the State Insane Asylum). The records include (1) the court file regarding her commitment, from the district court in Millard County, Utah; (2) A partial transcript of the trial record prepared by great grandson, Guy L. Black; and (3) The complete records/file of the State Mental Hospital regarding Susan's time at the hospital. Susan was committed to the hospital by court order on 21 November 1898. She remained there until her death on 25 March 1946.
