About this book

Sunday Magazine [1905-08-20]

Year: 1905

The Sunday Magazine was a syndicated newspaper Sunday supplement magazine which was distributed by its publisher to several major newspapers around the country (the issue which has been scanned here was one which appeared in the Boston Sunday Post newspaper). The layout of the magazine resembled that of large format "slick" magazines of the day such as Collier's or The Saturday Evening Post and similarly made use of color printing for the front cover and for some of the ads and interior illustrations. This issue features a colorful cover by wildlife artist Charles Livingston Bull, illustrating Canadian author Charles G. D. Roberts' short story "A Royal Marauder."
