Volume VII of Charles Haddon Spurgeon's (1834-1892) published sermons. This volume contains numbers 348 through 426 of Rev. Spurgeon's published sermons. This volume, being the first of the Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit volumes, contains the sermons from the opening week for the then-new Metropolitan Tabernacle sanctuary. The Rev. Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834 - 1892) is known as “The Prince of Preachers.” He was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London (later known as the Metropolitan Tabernacle) for 38 years. He was enormously popular as a preacher, and frequently drew more than 10,000 hearers on Sunday Mornings. His sermons were published weekly, and were so popular, that they continued to be published weekly for 25 years after his death. This book is the seventh volume (sermon numbers 348 through 426) of these sermons. This is Volume 7 of a total 63 volumes of Rev. Spurgeon’s published sermons.
