Original paperback catalog that has been rebound with maroon hardcovers with no illustration or print on the outside. Those covers are 10.25" x 14.75". All of the edges are discolored with wear and tear, often torn or showing the cardboard underneath. Interior pages are glossy and black and white. Many of the pages have tears and rips along the bottom edge. Inside the front cover, there is an old library card pocket from St. Joseph Public Library in Missouri. Across the pocket is a stamp that reads, "Cancelled and Withdrawn." This stamp can also be found on the last page of the book. There are152 pages. **Edited by Carleton Monroe Winslow and Edward Fisher Brown. This book is actually the collection of home designs entered into an architecture design competition sponsored by the Community Arts Association of Santa Barbara. The name of the Competition was: "Competition For House To Cost Not Over $5000." The people mentioned above are the people mentioned in the Foreword, the judges of the contest, as well as the top three winners of the contest.
