Sex, a play by Mae West under the pseudonym Jane Mast, from a story idea by Mae West with uncredited draft contributions from John J. Byrne and Adeline Leitzbach. Sex was originally produced on Broadway in 1926 starring Mae West as Margy Lamont. It ran until the spring of 1927, when it was closed by a police raid and subject to an obscenity trial, as a result of which West and her two co-producers spent 10 days in prison.
