Final report to the Hon. Commissioners of Public Works [microform] : on the completion of the improvements in the north-east wing of the Common Gaol at Montreal, forwarded to the secretary of that department, on 21st Sept. 1854, containing a statement of their nature and extent, and showing the urgent necessity for improving the other wings of the gaol upon the same principle : with an appendix demonstrating their complete success, by ample trial, with special reference to the peculiar method of heating and ventilation employed, as contrasted with other methods in use which are detrimental to life and property
