Register of marriages and baptisms recorded by travelling minister Reverend Charles Manson from 1848 to 1888. Born in St. Armand, Missisquoi, Quebec, 15 Sep 1818, the Reverend Charles Manson was a preacher in the Methodist Episcopal Church of Canada and had numerous appointments in Ontario, including Belleville, Napanee, Odessa, Brockville and Leeds. He began his ministerial duties in 1842 on the Belleville Circuit. In his later years, he preached in northern New York State in a number of locations including Fort Covington, New Haven, and Bombay. In 1843 he was married to Sarah Landon (1825- 1905). They had 7 children: James L., William E., Lucy M., Robert H., Ida E., Margaret A., Albert W. Rev. Charles Manson died 1 Jul 1889, at New Haven, Oswego, New York.
