A scrapbook that includes original, unpublished stories about Princeton, and original letters to Penne Miller from Paul B. Dennis, between the years 1983-1985. Paul Dennis' father, Job Dodge Dennis, built the store and house that Penne Miller owns. Paul Dennis is also the author of the book From Out of the Past that documents memories and stories from early Princeton. It was first published in 1976, then published again in 1983 with an Addendum. Penne was Paul's agent for the 1983 book. She and Paul corresponded about printing and selling more copies of his book. He also wrote and sent Penne additional stories to possibly use in another book. Other items in this scrapbook include the story "Coming of the Telephone" written by Russell Enyeart. Bessie Sierk wrote stories about the Farmers Institute, the oldest residents of Princeton, and organizing the 4-H club. Joyce Brockhouse wrote about Mothers of World War II. There is information about Grand Marshalls for Princeton Fun Days: Mae and Waldo Jones - 1971, Herbert Peitscher - 1984, Jack and Ella Fick - 1996. There is information about the Interurban railway that went through Princeton on it's way from Davenport to Clinton from 1904
