Possibly Charles Maynard Hunt and Family c 1910 Archive Source

Probably Charles Maynard Hunt as a small child, likely about three or four years old, photographed with one of his older sisters, possibly Alice or Anna, and an unidentified older woman. The postcard is dated here circa 1910, which fits both the apparent age of the boy and the postcard stock. I do not believe the seated woman is Charles’s mother, as family records indicate his mother died in 1919, when he was about thirteen. She is more likely another relative or caretaker. The older girl appears to be several years older than the boy and may be one of the sisters said to have helped raise him. This photograph appears to belong with the Hunt family material, likely from Iowa. It was found as an orphaned image among other family items that had been pulled out and regrouped over time. Some of these photographs seem to have been separated earlier, possibly by my father, along with other memorial-related material from both sides of the family. There are additional Hunt family photographs, both digital copies and hard copies, sent from relatives in Iowa, and those may help confirm the identification.
