Paperback booklet with brown covers. The covers are actually two halves of a larger piece of brown paper. The front half has the title "PLANS for Country Homes" at the top in black ink, and at the bottom is the explanation of the interior: "The Prize Plans In The Farmhouse Contest Held by The College of Agriculture of The University of Wisconsin in 1916." There are two staples along the right edge of the front "cover." The back half has a vertical rectangle in the center, with a list of all the "Winners" inside. When the covers are opened/turned over, there are four 11.75" white pages showing a drawing of each winner's farmhouse and the accompanying floor plans. These pages are the reason there are two staples showing on the front "cover," because they are stapled together along their left margins. There are a few wrinkles on the cover corners, but overall the booklet is in good condition. The booklet is stored in a plastic sleeve with the year "1916" written on the front in black Sharpie. Size of folded covers: 6" x 9"
