A photo album with music box inside the base that contains 13 card photographs. The album lays flat on a hollow wood base that has flared sides and beveled corners. The base itself sits on small gold painted wood ball feet (one is missing). The sides of the base are deep cobalt blue and covered in a thick clear wax film. Base size: 9.5" x 12" The cover of the photo album is embossed with a thick clear wax surface. The design on the cover is of three large white and pink roses in the center of dark beige background and a scroll and floral motif curved border along the top and bottom. The cover also has deep cobalt blue corners with painted gold sunbursts. The spine of the album is cover in a patterned velvet in blue hues. Inside the album are thick gold edged photo sleeves/pages that can hold either medium or small sized card photographs. Along the right side of the album in the middle is a gold painted copper plated latch. The cooper has been molded or pressed to form a cartouche and acanthus leaf design. (loop and prong latch).
