A pageant program from the Peabody Historical Society that show scenes from Peabody's history. The pageant is in commemoration of the ordination of the first minister at the South Church on the 23rd of September 1713. The scenes were broken up into seven episodes. The first is titled "The First Meeting House, 1711;" episode 2 is "Living Room of Squire Daniel and Hannah (Prescott) Eps, 1760-65. Episode 3 is "Wedding Reception, 1763." The fourth episode is called "The Revolution, 1775." The fifth is "The Wedding Tea-Party, 1814. Episode 6 is "The Civil War, 1861-65" and the seventh episode is called "George Peabody, 1856."
