Seely Manufacturing Company (1 Church Street - west side) is the gray 3 storey building in the centre; they manufactured perfumes and extracts; the other gray, 3 storey building by the river is probably John Scott & Co. (83-85 Sandwich Street West), wholesale and retail grocers; the sign of Frederick Stearns And Company is visible. They were located at 91/111 Sandwich Street West, on the southeast corner of Sandwich Street West and River Street (no longer exists - was between Church Street and Bruce Avenue). They manufactured pharmaceutical products and toiletries. Advertising: "Swiss food for breakfast"; probably published by the Pugh Manufacturing Company.
