Letter from H. E. Spackman of the United States Treasury to James Curtis Booth (1810-1888) enclosing a copy of a letter from Charles O'Neill (1821-1893) member of the U.S. House of Representatives. O'Neill's letter was written in reply to James P. Kimball's (1836-1913) communication pertaining to a bill for Booth's relief. James Curtis Booth (1810-1888) was Melter & Refiner at the United States Mint in Philadelphia. The James Booth papers are held by the Science History Institute in Philadelphia.
