Letter from H. E. Spackman of the United States Treasury to James Curtis Booth (1810-1888) enclosing a copy of a letter from Charles O'Neill (1821-1893) member of the U.S. House of Representatives. O'Neill's letter was written in reply to James P. Kimball's (1836-1913) communication pertaining to a bill for Booth's relief. James Curtis Booth (1810-1888) was Melter & Refiner at the United States Mint in Philadelphia. The James Booth papers are held by the Science History Institute in Philadelphia. Newman Numismatic Portal sponsored the digitization of the numismatic portions of this material in 2021.
