About this book
Niles' Weekly Register, June 24, 1815
Year: 1815
The Weekly Register, pages 282 - 304, No. 17 of Vol. VIII, published Saturday, June 24, 1815 in Baltimore, Maryland. An article on pages 283-284, "War Events," includes information on Dartmoor Prison, a reference to Steel's list of the British Navy and a decrease in the number of British vessels, and a note that "two hundred seamen from the Constitution were drafted for the Congress frigate. Had little more of the spirit of the Constitution been infused into the Congress during the war, we should have had a much better account of the traitors at home and enemies abroad."
