Andrea Moore Collection Notes: This may be a photograph of the Ministers at the founding Conference of the British Methodist Episcopal Church (BMEC) in Philadelphia in 1856. The man in the back row, centre, could be Bishop Willis Nazrey. The man in the front row, left, could be Bishop Richard Randolph Disney. It appears that this photograph was reprinted as a carte de visite by the photographer Thomas S. Hill of St. Catharines. This may have been for the 50th anniversary Conference of the Church which was held in St. Catharines in 1906. It could also have been for the 50th anniversary Conference of the first Canada Conference of the American Methodist Episcopal Church (1840) which was held in St. Catharines in 1890.
