This manual contains: "A brief history of the Church, Sunday School, Y. P. S. C. E., Ministers, Deacons, Ministers and Missionaries gone out from the Church, with the Articles of Faith and Covenant of the Church, Standing Rules and List of its Members, etc." Seven individuals from this church are noted in this manual as serving as missionaries and many of them were sponsored by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions (ABCFM). 1. ~ Daniel T. Chamberlain and his family went with the first missionaries from the U.S. to Hawaii in 1819. 2. ~ Adeline White went to Singapore, Siam in 1834, married Rev. Ira Tracy there in 1835, and returned to the U.S. in 1841. 3. ~ Sarah White married Rev. Asa B. Smith in 1838 and they left the same day on a mission to Native Americans in Oregon. Later they went to Hawaii. 4. ~ Rev. William Ware Howland sailed to Ceylon in 1845 as a missionary and remained there until his death about 1887. 5. ~ Rev. Samuel Ware Bonney went to China as a missionary about 1846 and served there until his death in 1864. 6. ~ Florence White began serving as a missionary in Japan, being in charge of a girls' school there, and afterwards served in Mexico. 7. ~ L
