EG has every letter from Charlotte Mason, written every week over more than 60 years; 1862-80 weekly letters; in 1880 Charlotte Mason went to live with EG in Bradford - 28 May 1923 -- Refers to Charlotte Mason's early spiritual striving -- Offering letters from Charlotte Mason- 10 June 1923 -- EG writes soon after CM's death (14.6.23) : "What I set great store upon are the Sunday letters -- precious and numerous -- and who knows, but they may find an echo in your Sunday afternoon gatherings, where 'She, being death yet speaketh.' EG also refers to Charlotte Mason's life in Worthing -- CM speaks of her loneliness in Worthing and her love of nature, particularly the sea and its power to move her spirit [relevant to Nature Study?]; dated 1861, after "four weeks" in Worthing, CM says "studying for a Certificate after a hard day's teaching is not without its difficulties";CM's thoughts on spiritual growth].
