Collection of items from the descendants of Lamira Harrison West, daughter of John R. and Mary Smith Harrison, and wife of Josiah West, III. This collection is organized in the following order: 1. Pictures and information about the Harrison home located in Banks/North Plains, OR. There are also pictures of the surrounding areas, including the cemetery, two churches, and the Harrison Mill Dam. 2. Written information about the Harrison journey across the Oregon Trail, as well as lists of the children of John R. Harrison. He was married twice: three children from the first wife: Jane Miller Harrison, and seven children from the second wife: Mary Smith Brown Harrison. 2a. There are additional family trees further along in this collection. 3. Next are various pictures in the collection of the 10 Harrison siblings, and some of their children as well. Not every sibling had photos. 3a. Pages 84 and 85 in this collection show the frame and photo of Myrtle Harrison Bates, the daughter of Henry Clay Harrison. Unfortunately her name was not included in the cropping process. 4 Next are letters from and to Mrs. Arthur Kaser/Violet West Kaser. She was collecting information about her grandmother
