The source material is Volume Two: The System of the World of Sir Isaac Newton’s Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy and His System of the World. This English translation was done by Andrew Motte in 1729, and the translations were revised and supplied with a historical and explanatory appendix by Florian Cajori. This edition was copyrighted in 1934 and renewed in 1962 by The Regents of the University of California, with a seventh printing in 1973.
