THE TYPHOON. A MEETING of the Polo Club was held last evening, and it was decided to hold a Sky Meeting about the end of November. A MEETING of subscribers to the Griffin list for the coming Meeting will be held at the Hongkong Hotel to-morrow, at 4 p.m., to discuss the terms of trial. THE steamship Sachsen arrived at Shanghai this afternoon she must hav met with a rough passage, to take so long. THE Chinese Amusements at Bowrington will get under way to-morrow afternoon, tyhoons permitting. MESSRS. Adamson, Bell & Co., agents for the Canadian-Pacific Line, inform us that the steamship Port Augusta left Vancouver for Japan and China on Saturday morning, the 2nd inst.
