AN Emergency Lodge of United Service No 1341, will be held in Freemasons' Hall, Zetland street. THE telegraphic line between Haiphong and Hanoi is almost finished, and that between Hanoi and Nam-dinh will be commenced immediutely. WE hear from Manila that the British ship G. C. Trufant has been floated safely off the shore at Palawan Island. WE are informed by the acting agent of the P. and O. S. N Co., that the English mail steamer Nepanl, WE are glad to learn that a new Fire Brigade station, with No. 4 manual engine, has been established specially for the higher levels of the city, at No. 51, Hollywood Road.
