Dr. John Henry Clarke's paper 'Hahnemann's Place in Medicine', was read as The Opening Address delivered to Students of the Summer Course of Post-Graduate Lectures held at the London Homoeopathic Hospital in 1922. Dr. Clarke (1853-1931) quotes Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), and Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, aka Paracelsus (1493-1541) from Rademacher's Universal and Organ Remedies , by Johann Gottfried Wilhelm Rademacher (1772-1850), (Abridged and Translated by A. A. Ramseyer (1864-1923), published in 1909, by Boericke and Tafel, Philadelphia), and unnamed patient. The Opening Address was later published in The Homoeopathic World: A Monthly Journal of Medical, Social and Sanitary Science , August 1922, pages 211-220.
