A history of the Crocker family, from Thomas Crocker and Rachel Chappell (married 1667 in New London Connecticut), to the author's great grandmother Cynthia Sprague (1787-1884). Jeannette Robinson Murphy was born in Louisville Kentucky in 1865, and died in Haywood County, North Carolina in 1946. I was able to trace her relationship to Lucy Crocker using vital records on Ancestry.org. Jeannette's parents were Norman Robinson (1829-1904) and Leora Bettisen (1840-??). Norman's parents were Samuel Robinson Jr. (1801-1849) and Eliza Parks (1809-1842). Eliza's parents were Samuel Parks (1776-1863) and Cynthia Sprague (1787-1884). Cynthia's parents were Dan Sprague (dates unknown) and Lucy Crocker (1759-??), the subject and namesake of this text. I have done some more research into her (and my) family, and have documented this on a family tree on ancestry.org .
