About this book
Everett family correspondence, 1851-1899 (box 9)
Author: Everett, Anna, 1836-1902
Year: 1851
Letters of Robert and Elizabeth Everett and their children. Many of the letters are all-inclusive, written from the Everett children to the rest of the family back home. At times two or more of the Everett sisters lived together, and many letters are addressed "Dear Sisters" without further clarification. Anna Everett (1836-1902) attended Mount Holyoke Seminary and also Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where her sister Jennie taught school. Anna also taught school, and eventually moved back to the family home at Remsen, NY. See finding aid for more information.
