The album shows the Eben Weld Tallant family; their house and some of their extended family. **Eben Weld Tallant (1841-1932) is the son of Nathaniel and Lydia Scudder Tallant, both from MA. **E.W. Tallant married Mary Elizabeth Easton Tallant in 1869, and they had 4 children: William "Willie" Easton 1870-1934), Maria Louise (1875-1962), Harriet E. (1878-1970), and Nathaniel Weld (1883-1968). **This album has many photos of Maria Louise's grandson, "Richie" Carruthers and his sister Carol Louise. They are two of the children often pictured. - Maria Louise married Richard "Dick" Ervin Carruthers in 1901. They had two sons, Richard Tallant "Dickie" Carruthers, Sr. and Eben Hunter "Eb" Carruthers. Richard T. married Mary Maurine Buchanan. They are the parents of Richie and Carol. **There is reference to Laura Tallant and a young girl holding hands with Carol named Sally. Our brief research is uncertain as to how these two girls are related to the families. Laura Tallant might be William Tallant's daughter who marries
