Type(s): Postcard Source: Mike Skreptak Collection; Box 1 Notes: Postmarked February 26th, 1908; addressed to Miss Fay Rumball; in late Spring/early Summer 1908, the Sandwich, Windsor and Lakeshore Rapid Railway opened the stretch of its electric railway line that ran from Kingsville to Leamington. This postcard probably dates to the Summer of 1907. The crowds have gathered for the ceremony at the intersection of Erie Street and Talbot Street; the view is looking south along Erie Street; W. D. And B. W. Cox, Mens and Boys Clothiers is on the south east corner.
