This transcription of Dr. Richard Hughes correspondence to the editor, is in response to Dr. Robert Thomas Cooper's protest against Dr. Hughes reported criticism of Dr. John Henry Clarke's recently published first volume of A Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica , in a speech given at the recent International Homeopathic Congress, held in Paris. Dr. Clarke's reply follows. Published in The Homeopathic World: A Monthly Journal of Medical, Social and Sanitary Science , Oct. 1, 1900, pages 475-477. Published by The Homeopathic Publishing Company, 12, Warwick Lane, E.C., London. Dr. Hughes (1836-1902) and Dr. Clarke (1853-1931) quote Dr. Cooper (1844-1903).
