Evidence for date of publication: The catalogue introduction mentions 'prevailing war conditions', i.e. 1914-1918. The introduction adds "It will be noted that the catalogue is 'priced' throughout. This is a new departure for a General Machinery Catalog ...". Dangar, Gedye & Co. newspaper advertisements mentioning a "new priced General Catalog" first appeared in December 1916 (q.v. "Daily Telegraph" 23 Dec 1916, https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/239430215). The particular catalogue scanned here has pasted-in correction slips over some of the prices, indicating later distribution.
