Instruction book for the Conservo steam cooker / canner made in early 1900’s. This book contains testimonials, recipes, and general information about using the device. Note this was before pressure canning was commonly used and as such the instructions pertaining to things that require pressure canning for food safety (preventing botulism) is for historical interest only. The section on puddings is quite interesting as it lists many recipes and gives a little information on how pudding was made in the past.
