Collection of 39 pages of various documents and correspondence concerning the Columbia River Quarantine Station, and the Public Health Officer at the time, Thadeus S. Trullinger. These papers are dated from May 19, 1902 - December 3, 1903, *Please note that all of the pages included here have been scanned as double-sided. This was done so that researchers can see any notes or extra printing on the backs, as well as any other telling information. **Mentioned occasionally in the letters is a "Mrs. Georgia B. Trullinger" or a "Miss Badollet." This is the same person: Georgia B. Badollet Trullinger, Thad's wife. **Thad's older sister Isabelle marries Theodore Thurston Geer in 1900. Geer was Governor of Oregon from 1899 - 1903 - the same time period as these documents. **Thad's father, John.C. Trullinger, crossed the Oregon Trail as a young man in 1847, and became the proprietor of West Shore Lumber Mill. He started the Astoria Electric Company in 1886, which later became Pacific Light and Power in 1910.
