Erected by the Border Cities' Star as a store and office building. It is fireproof throughout, faced with granite. Bedford stone and brick. Equipment includes three 700-foot-a-minute Otis Fensom signal control elevators, circulating ice water system, automatic stoking and freight elevator service. Features of the Canada Building are the basement and second floor arcade shops. Located in the heart of the business district, next to the Prince Edward Hotel and 200 feet from the Detroit-Canada tunnel terminal."
