Born in England; to Canada, 1897; to a farm in the Lloydminster district, 1903; moved to Edmonton, 1910; member of Alberta Legislative Assembly, 1909-1913; enlisted in British Army, 1914, later transferred to the Princess Patricia Regiment in the Canadian Expeditionary Force; died of wounds April 4, 1916; strong believer in the mineral wealth of northern Alberta and Saskatchewan ( Canadian parliamentary guide , 1912; Letter from Lloydminster Library). // When Alberta and Saskatchewan were created, the Dominion retained control of the public domain. This book is a vigorous protest.
