British ARMY - MEMORANDUM on NAVAL AND MILITARY AVIATION. This Memorandum was presented to both Houses o f the UK Parliament by Command o f His Ma j esty on 11th April, 1912 and reflects further details of the scheme of naval and military aviation adopted by the British Imperial Government on the recommendation of the Aeronautical Adv i sory Committee. The Aeronautical Adv i sory Committee, under the chairmanship of Colonel Seely had been commissioned to consider NAVAL AND MILITARY AVIATION and report on the whole subject. This memorandum omits all reference to emoluments and similar financial considerations, the details to which had not been finally decided.
