This may be the only public domain English translation of the Bhagavata Purana . The book was written in 1901 and dedicated to Annie Besant of the Theosophical Society. It is a fairly complete translation of one of the great scriptures of India, containing the story of the Supreme Lord Krishna who brought his eternal kingdom to earth thousands of years ago. If you only know Krishna as the speaker of the Bhagavad Gita or as the hero of the Mahabharata this book is must reading. A print on demand version of this book was published on Amazon using KDP. Amazon's policies on using KDP for public domain works requires that the book be differentiated in some way, and this book probably does not qualify, so I have unpublished it and have chosen to share the files here instead. My original book was done using Libre Office but those files were lost so I made a new PDF using LaTeX. The typesetting on the book published in 1901 was pretty awful. My version, while not perfect, is a significant improvement.
