Short instruction booklet for “The Polygraph”, a drawing tool patented in 1885. The device is a thin circular metal template with cutouts that allow regular polygons and geometric patterns to be drawn. It was originally made in Philadelphia PA by The Polygraph Company, and also made under licence in the UK by George Delgado of London. The original patent ( US332148A ; Goldsmith & Reizenstein, 1885-12-08) shows a slightly simplified design compared to the one pictured in this booklet.
