This document contains a complete set of the Part II Daily Orders of the 73rd Canadian Infantry Battalion "Royal Highlanders". The unit was organized in Montreal, Quebec on August 15, 1915 and disbanded on September 15, 1920. The 73rd Infantry Battalion served with the 12th Brigade of the 4th Canadian Division in the Great War of 1914-1921, with extensive combat service in France and Flanders. The unit joined the 12th Brigade on August 13, 1916 and was withdrawn from the battle zone on August 14, 1917 after suffering heavy losses in the Battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917, specifically in the attack on "The Pimple".
