PDF PAGE 1, COLUMN 2 PROBE BEGINS TODAY OF PERJURY CHARGES Judge Hill Expected to Charge Grand Jury to Make a Thorough Investigation. When Judge Ben Hill, of the Criminal Division of Fulton Superior Court, this morning charges the new Grand Jury it is understood that he will deliver specific instructions upon the perjury charges that have been preferred by Solicitor Dorsey against witnesses in the Frank Case, and that among the first to be considered by the Grand Jury will be these Cases. The charges will be presented before the Grand Jury by Solicitor Dorsey, and his assistant, A. E. Stephens. The material evidence will consist of the many affidavits made by witnesses repudiating their testimony, some of which also consist of Counter Repudiations. About the middle of the week, it is expected that the Ragsdale matter will be brought to the attention of the Grand Jury. Meanwhile Solicitor Dorsey is busy with his argument to meet the Motion of John L. Tye to set aside the verdict in the Frank Case on account of the absence of the plaintiff at the time of its pronouncement. This Motion is set for hearing before Judge Hill on Wednesday.
