PDF PAGE 9, COLUMN 4 NO DECISION AS YET IN THE FRANK CASE Judge Evins Has Been Assign- ed to Case—Many Wild Rumors Afloat. Four days have passed and the supreme court has not handed down a single decision. This is altogether unusual and those who are familiar with the workings of the high court are convinced that the consideration of the Frank case is is responsible for this state of affairs. For two days all sorts of rumors have been afloat in regard to the probable action of the supreme court on this famous case, and throughout the capitol there has been the greatest interest. Thursday and Friday night various reports were in circulation. All were to the effect that the supreme court could be depended on to hand down its decision this week. In point of fact, there is a possibility of the supreme court rendering no decision until October; then there is the probability that it will come down in the next few days. The fact that no decisions have been handed down does not necessarily mean that the Frank case is being considered at this time, although the majority at this time, although the majority of officials at the capitol give this as their opinion.
